Morata, who was teammates with Osimhen at Galatasaray, also praised the Nigerian international, saying he thoroughly enjoyed playing alongside him during their time at the Turkish club.
“Victor is one of the world’s top three strikers for me. I really enjoyed playing with him,” Morata told Sporty TV.
Recalling his experience playing behind Osimhen, the Spanish striker said the Nigerian’s movement and goalscoring ability made his role much easier.
“Sometimes I remember playing behind Victor. It was like, ‘Kick the ball into space, I will score the goal.’ I think he’s one of the best in the world,” Morata said.
